Susan Skowronski is an Australian author and poet, storyteller and editor. She enjoys patchwork and embroidery, photography and writing and has published several books of poetry. A collection of short stories ‘Farmer’s Kids’ was published in 2009. Her work has been published in several magazines and anthologies.

Susan has been a regular contributor to 52 Weeks Flash Fiction Challenge on Facebook since its inception in 2014. Other works include four booklets of flash fiction, a booklet of reflections and poems, as well as three children’s stories.

Susan edited Mia Mia magazine for six years and FAWQ’s Scope magazine from 2011 to 2017, and several anthologies and novels by a number of local writers.

Susan’s flash fiction booklets have been used extensively by members of the Anglican church to be included in ‘blessing bags.’ These bags are distributed to people who are ill, lonely or grieving and contain seven prettily wrapped gifts, one to be opened each day for the following week.
